What kind of content will be a knockout for the world of marketing?
Is content marketing a promise for positive changes in the world of global marketing? How does it impact the process of creating a bond between brand and consumer? Why content distributed via Internet has a bigger influence on recipients than traditional media? This and many other questions were answered during this year’s Filmteractive 2014.
Filmteractive 2014 is the fourth edition of the event, but this time it’s really special due to its rich and interesting program. The lecturers were representatives of brands and media, such as Red Bull or TVP – The Polish Television Network. Content marketing, being the hottest trend of the year, became the theme subject and electrified the whole audience. Adipat Virdi, British producent from Transmediasphere, said that “last year was great, this year it’s amazing”.
Filmteractive Conference 2014
The conference took place on the first day of the event. It was a time to have a closer look at exceptional marketing projects, such as interactive promotion of the “Game of thrones” series for HBO, effective distribution of Jamie Olivier’s programs through food tube, or building branded content 360° as exemplified by RedBull.
During Filmteractibe Conference, a report on content marketing in Poland prepared by Andrzej Garapich from PBI and Olgierd Cygan w from Digital One was presented as well. One thing that you simply could not miss was an interview with Joe Pulizzi from American Content Marketing Institute who is likely to be called the guru of content marketing. At the end of the day a panel on online television was held, with participants from Evio, IAB, TVP, and Crowley Media.
Filmteractive Festival 2014
During this year’s festival you could listen to Jonathan Webb, Sundog Pictures producer, who was talking about web distribution of a documentary feature called Breaking the Taboo. A meeting with representatives of ZAiKS on copyright law and web distribution of music proved itself to be very interesting, too. The panel on videoblogging as an alternative to regular video distribution brought a lot of attention. It was held by Maciej Budzich (Mediafun.pl) and Paulina Mikuła, Łukasz Jakóbiak, Radek Kotarski and Daniel Ciupryk.
The second day was filled with final presentations of international projects which were a part of Filmteractive Market – transmedia and interactive content fair. The closing event was the award ceremony funded by Evio Polska Sp. z o. o., and the second one for creators from the Baltic Sea region only, funded by Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture (NDPC).
